this is no joke nor meant to be funny...but everytime i go to the psychiatrist there seems to be a new disorder on my chart...what do you call someone with 8 or 9 disorders...but people look at you and think you are perfectly normal?

I know that when i had private health care they made me think there was more stuff wrong than what was actually the case so that i stayed under their care longer and sought out more treatments. Not sure if what you're experiencing is suspicious but i would be wary. On the other hand some disorders overlap and can be linked or sometimes caused by each other - most on here would argue that at least you've got diagnoses and anyway whats a label? as long as your doc is helping you with your symptoms thats really all that matters. If you're concerned i would raise the matter with your doctor or perhaps get a second opinion - all the best.
