after having so many things go wrong we managed yesterday to get a claim under way for hubby to get some money now his ssp has stopped the lady dealt with hubby then when he couldnt answer all the questions (childrens dates of birth ) she let me take over she sees no problem getting this claim going i just cant pronounce the name of it very well but its the same benifit as my daughter gets as she cant work (incapcity benifit) this will boost his self asteem as he feels he isnt contributing at the moment

benifits are awarded to ppl depending on what they are capble of, incapcity benifit is awarded to ppl who cant work due to ill health or not capable to work and as its sometimes topped up with income support another benifit , ssp is statury sick pay which is payed to ppl who are employed but cant work due to ill health but they only pay this for 28days and its normaly paid the same as the wages , the normal wage is paid for a mth the ssp takes over hubby is still enployed but is not fit enough to go back to work so his money from enployer has now stopped and he can claim benifits

Excellent news!! I dont get incapacity benefit, they do pay my national insurance for me though, I get disability living allowance of 16.50 per week and income support of 164 pounds every two weeks........... I had to appeal on the disability living allowance though, which took ages but was back dated.

i can tell you that most claims for dla are turned down then when ppl appeal they normaly get it , i have lots of dealings with dla as two of my children get this if it wasnt for a friend i wouldnt of heard of it , and after i managed to claim i helped ppl claim it ,but daughter also get incapcity benifit as well as her dla , she gets 180 afortnight from incapcity benifit and 2?? something cant quite remember every mth, they allways say are you claiming all the benifits you are intitled to but they dont tell you about them
