In about a year we will be moving. We currently have a very large support team that I would love to move with us. I am trying to figure out how to get a good large team together in another city. Honestly if I can't get together a large trusting team I will not move. So how do you go about finding good services in another area before you move?

I would find a social work agency in my new city that works with "guided care" or care collaboration or another program like that and hire a "case manager" for yourself to do some preliminary work looking for what you specify and getting to know you personally. then when you get to the new city, you and the case manager can work together finding other team members you like:

If you look on the internet there are places that list the support groups available to you in the area. Also, in the hospitals where you are moving you can find groups posted on bulletin boards and in the elevators. Good Luck to you!
Thanks for this!
