mean people tonight I am really sad. yesterday a man intentionally ran over 2 mothers and 3 children. 2 children were critical and one very very critical. one mother was released last night but from my understanding is being readmitted tonight. the other mother is still in icu at a different hospital than the children. they just broke into the news to announce the 3 yr old passed away.
why did he run over them??????????? oh my heart is absolutely breaking right now. a fund has been set up for the families. they are ministers in a local church here and I know God will comfort them.

mean people I can't listen to the news, hate it when they intrude into a movie or show... We have a rash of hit and runs, intentional shootings etc lately... I can't bear it either.

TC of yourself, (((bebop))))

Elaine -

Shocking news.

I think the world has become more violent since 9/11.

Hugs,

I heard about this on the news yesterday. I don't understand how some people can be so cruel and evil, either, Bebop. I'm so sorry for them. (((Bebop)))

Ya know, I am just sickened by the people of this world. I am beginning to be more and more shameful to be of the human race.

Cruelty and violence have been around since the beginning of time. I don't think it's increased; we just have more access to hear about it. Some people have no control of their anger and hatred, and don't believe everyone is or should be equal. They feel, How dare you do this to me! Or they're psychotic and don't care who they hurt.

I believe it has increased alot! I have seen it in my own city! every single day on our news here it is always the county or city I live in! just like 2 days ago a man shot a woman in the mouth. 2 months ago a guy was car jacking a car next to me and put a gun in my face. yes it has increased tremindoulsy

How absolutely awful.

On the news in here in England there was a shooting in London again, some guy lost the plot and shot a couple of people.

I cannot begin to understand what goes through the minds of people who take lives.......

I'm sorry, thinking about it, you might be right. I think there have been times when it's been better and when it's been worse, but lately, I'd say you're right. Lots more gun violence in particular.
