Hi All -

I've never been happier to have a surgery behind me.

A special thanks to everyone who prayed for me and sent me good thoughts.

More later.

(((((((((EJ)))))))))))))),

So glad your surgery went well & now have relief from the pain. I can relate to having continuous pain.....years & years of continual migraines that never went away.

I can also relate to the stress of anticipating a surgery that is supposed to help with the pain. I am so happy for you that your surgery was successful in that. I know for me, they thought that going through a neck fusion would make the migraines go away. Unfortunately for me, the surgery did not successfully get rid of the pain, but it did make it safe for me in the long run & glad it was done before I ended up with my head plant into the ground when I got tossed from my horse last Sept. Having to deal with continual pain is very hard physically & psychologically. I ended up lucky to find a pain specialist that is willing to prescribe the amount of narcotics that work.....but being on them for so many years is scarry to think of what they might be doing to my body....it is much better to have pain physically relieved than to depent on medications.

My prayers for your continued healing...you gotta take care of those cattle you have....your farm is alot of work.

Take care,
Debbie

Eskie -

Thank you for your note of encouragement, and sharing your experiences.

I also start teaching an online class on Monday. I had hope to have the surgery a little earlier, but the surgeon decided to take a week's vacation. Oh well I got it done, and no one on the other end can see me with my foot propped way up.

Still praying for you during your transition,

EJ
