My sanctuary was robbed 3 times this year; the last one making me realize that I have been specifically targeted. Someone wrote "Boom" in the snow on my windshield, and the other day, a large, black 4x4 drove right at me at high speed, narrowly missing me. I have felt victimized, depressed, saddened and enraged, which would only seem natural and normal, however, after reading about the Grinch stealing Xmas at the care facility, followed by many angry comments by fellow members, including Maven's amusing comment about redemption, I've changed my attitude on the whole matter. Becoming indignant and hostile to such behavior does no good whatsoever, and it only harms me. Those sociopaths would just love it to know how victimized I have been feeling - that's part of the kick for them. Why do I feel the need to impose expectations upon the world, anyway? It's not fair; accept that, and it will make it a lot easier to live with.

My emotions got the better of me, and I have been preparing myself to kill or be killed, which is madness! I wouldn't describe online what I have been preparing. I now accept that those types of people do exist, but if I try to deal with it controlled by my emotional and reptilian brain, I will perish. As difficult as it is to understand that those psychos are still human beings, it is still true. They are malicious people who still have a soul, and this realization helps me to handle my situation much more rationally.

I'm not saying roll over, and let them continue with their assaults; it's criminal, and should be stopped. This is my responsibility...and yours. Do it rationally, that's all.

I'm being proactive, and taking wise measures to protect myself without feeling the need or desire to kill these sick people.

Thankyou for waking me up

Yeah, getting yourself thrown in jail or worse is not the solution. We all understand how criminals like that can anger and overwhelm you here.
