I'm just here for a short while... The surgery was a bit scary... but I managed to sit still... no ants in my pants! LOL Eye surgery- back home.
I had trouble breathing though... feels kind of nasty with a needle in your eye...
Right now I'm frightened... because I'm in severe pain, the eye is red,a swelling around it, tears are pouring...
The doc only said that it could chafe a bit... but this is worse than that. If it's not better until tomorrow I will have to call him.
I'm taking antibiotics salve to not get infection and one more salve to keep it moist.
Actually it feels almost like it does, when I have the symptoms of my Recurrent Corneal Erosion...

Turned out the doc had only done this procedure on 10 persons before...
I just hope this will work and that nothing's wrong!!!!!!

Thank you for caring about me through PM's, mails and here in Kudos!!!!! It means a lot to me! Because YOU mean a lot me!

Better go rest this soon 32-year-old eye of mine. LOL Eye surgery- back home.

I wish you all, a gentle and kind day!

I've spoken to the doc. He felt sorry for me and just told me to rest and to do what I felt was the best, keep my eye open or closed. To look out if it comes yellow stuff from tears... then I'll need to switch salve. He told me that I've probably gotten a wound where the needle has been... that I had figured out myself. You know, the cornea was like a loose mess there... so it's not that strange... He said that some of his former patientes had felt an emmediate relief... one of them had gotten a horrible pain and went worse than ever before. Well... it should hopefully get better these next few days , he said. Otherwise I'll have to get back to him.
Maaaan it hurts! It hurts even more than yesterday! Tears come running all the time... even through my nose... LOL
He said to try to keep the eye in a position where it hurts the least... hmmm.... there is no such position!
Sometimes when I happen to look to the left... I scream. So left is no good!

I'm soooooooooooooooo bored! Can't do much! Had to take care of our daughter... hubby's been sleeping after working night. Poor girl... not a fun mother to be home with! She should have been to Kindergarden... but I can't drive with this eye. (But I suppose no one can drive with their eyes! Eye surgery- back home.)
I feel a bit lika a whining baby now... so I will stop writing about my tiny little eye in this huge universe. Eye surgery- back home.

Thank you for caring!!!!!!!

You didn't actually go see the doc? He sounds incredibly nonchalant. If the pain continues like this, please bug him about it.

you arent whining....and even if you were..... that is what friends are for... to listen to us when we are in need!!!!!!

I am sorry for your pain.. i hope you feel better soon.... if not call the doctor until he sees you again.... you certainly can not get an infection in your eye.... that is very dangerous
