I have been feeling a LOT better lately... but I hate to go in a shower??? I like being clean and have always been attentive tomyself; kitchen is always picked up & so is laundry, beds and such .... Why do I now all of a sudden HATE cleaning myself at home no problems at my lake house? Any suggestions would be appreciated so I can wash my hair!!! and/or anyone in the same situation???

Yes, my husband bought me the best bath gel from Bath & Body works for xmas. Anyway, their products smell awesome and I look forward now to showering. On cleaning, it helps to invite someone by for a drink then you have no choice

Ok - I just saw "isolated farm" in your location. Besides the internet, go to pinterest or google homamade beauty products. You can make some cool body scrubs & lotions.

My Hand Scrub:

fill a jar about 3/4 way with kosher salts
fill about half-way with mineral or baby oil
Add about half a shot glass of flavored oils - lavender, lemon, almond, mint . . .
Mix in a bowl and store in a glass jar at room temp

I was finally able to take a shower in my own bathroom last night and not at my daughters or husbands bathroom..... But I do have to admit, I did have several glasses of wine prior.... but it worked However, I do not wish to be buzzed everytime I take a shower/bath in my own room Just a another addiction I do not need to get hooked into

with me.. i tend to not make an effert most days.

partly because of lack of motivation, partly because no one will notice, and partly because i never have anything on!

if i look like a dragon and the house like a war zone, so be it

clenliness is probably my worst area- or second worst, after cutting.

Thanks everyone Mine is like a sudden dislike/fear of my shower like a little kid afraid of a tub, and being drained away ... and I for sure know I would not fit trhu the plumbing lines... LOL

Ugh, I would be lost without my shower.....it's one of the things that washes my anxiety away.......end up having several showers a day because of that. It also feels good to have the hot shower because I keep my house really cool in the winter so I can afford my electric bill, so the hot water feels exceptionally good in the winter....covers me like a nice warm blanket....so much, I only get out of the shower once the water starts to loose it's heat or if I'm in a rush to have to go somewhere.

Sometimes if we are able to change how we view something from say fear to like mine, a washing away of anxiety.....just a thought. My shower also has to be spotless for me to feel ok in it.....so it gets cleaned very often.
