I'm so excited. I did my two interviws today and I bombed them thanks to my husband (who also works at Wal Mart) constantly talking about work. I already knew all the questions because my husband gives interviews and wads able to give me a heads up and a list of do's and dont's. It worked!!

I'm so excited, I'll finally have a life and money of my own. We'll lose our government benefits, but that's what those benefits are about, working your way up. That's what we're doing, working a way out, together we'll beable to afford two vehicles and seperate insurances. Plus I'll never have to ask money from my husband for tampons and stuff. I'm so happy.

Way to go!!!! This is good news.

I am concerned that you are already spending it on vehicles, though. Got a job at Wal Mart!!!! And it also concerns me that you didn't share the money as husband and wife (why would you have to ASK him for money for your needs???)

Please rethink about the spending? A good plan would be to save first, until you have enough for 6 months of going without a job, again.

But all in all, this is great! Hope it is all you want and need!!!!! Got a job at Wal Mart!!!!

Are you and your husband both on Social Security disability? Is that what you meant about "government benefits," or another program? If you're on SSD, you can work and earn up to a certain amount without losing your benefits, or not losing all of them, for up to a year. You'd need to research that a bit to get all the details. But it's good to keep in mind. This is to give you time to make sure you can handle working.

No, I ask my husband for money just because he has it in his wallet, but he never has any problem giving it to me because I am a much better shopper then he is....my Grandmother blessed me with the bargain shopping gene. I just hate going to him and saying, "hun I need some tampons", then he gives it to me.

No, we don't receive SSN, just medicaid for our children and HUD assistance.

Oh, and the vehicle will be purchased with my student loan, not paycheck.....I wish I could buy a car with my paycheck!!!!

Thanks all for your congrats
