Well you know when things are going ok, but a few little things happen (frustrations?) just keep nagging at you?

Well I had one of those days today.

Finally got home from work, fired up my laptop, and found that what I had emailed myself to work on tonight was ... a WAY earlier version. Like, practically prehistoric - it hadn't saved ANY changes from hours and hours of work ... even though I save things VERY frequently plus have autosave turned on ...

So I have just been BACK to work and found it in my Latest Documents list ... and opening it from there DOES bring up the changes ... Have printed it, saved it in two different locations, and changed the file name ... BUT I had a massive stress there for a bit ... 7 chargeable hours would have been down the drain ...

Anyway my point is this. For me it's sooo often just the culmulation of little things ... that individually and in moderation are FINE and just part of everyday life ... but building up they get me so cross!

My favourite cd at the moment is from Trinity Roots (dub, jazz, hiphop, reggae Aotearoa fusion) and these lyrics from a track keep popping into my head ...

It's the little things ... that make you mad
It's the little things ... that wreck your life
It's the little things ... that break you down
It's the little things ... that really matter ...

It's the LITTLE THINGS ...

Anyone else feel the same way????

It's the LITTLE THINGS ...

funny you should bring up this subject today...I have been sitting on the sofa and beside the fire hardly watching tv coz I have been going over a few 'little' things so much this evening It's the LITTLE THINGS .... BTW hope traffic across the bridge wasn't too bad It's the LITTLE THINGS .... For me today it was ppl not returning ph calls. Only 1 person did- my therapist with my appt time- while the 2 almost more important calls were ignored. It is the same ppl that don't return these calls, although I cannot be mad at one of them coz he probably didn't have the info i needed yet either...the main person to blame is the family social worker who was meant to have arranged a new review date for...LAST week, but still hasn't done anyting about it. I then get asked continuously by the other parties to be attending if I have any date WHICH I DON'T. I am thinking that putting in a formal complaint about the social worker could help, as long as she actually starts WORKING for our family, or even get us a new SW which on the down side would mean another new person in the equation esp after current SW has been dealing with our family for around 2 years now. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ... It's the LITTLE THINGS ...
