Let's see, Heather first. I've been running my own Architectural Drafting and Design business for a long time now. I do primarily residential remodals and renovations. I've designed a few homes from the ground up. I do business locations also. When companies lease space in a building, I'll draft out where the offices and cubicles are going to be, stuff like that. The architectural side of drafting really doesn't pay much, so you really have to have a large customer base to make it a full-time job. I'm hoping to be there by the third quarter of this year, but we'll see.

I appreciate your offer of help, and I will definetly give you a shout when I need your help. You are too sweet!

Hi Tomi, Big HUG!!!

I was there for awhile and met a few of the newer people, sparkle, dreamer, and ariel. They're all really nice. I took a break for dinner and when I got back it said that the server had kicked off. I stared at the comp for a minute, and decided to logoff for the night. I was pooped (can I say that here?) from a very busy week at work. All the people in my department except for me, my Lead, and one engineer have quit, and we're all doing the work of three people. I haven't been getting as much sleep as I should. I guess overall I haven't been taking very good care of me. I'm hoping for a better week ahead.

The wife and I are going to a company function with the place she works tonight. They're having a Las Vegas night. It sounds like a lot of fun. Gambling for prizes, a Vegas type show, a nice dinner. Now, if I can just get by the anxiety of being around 150 people I don't know...

Just another thought I have here too Bp???

. In Canada, we have what is called a SEB program.....Self Employment benefits....it is offered through our EI (Employment Insurance) ...basically what it is - you receive EI for up to a year for starting your own business. It is great income support to get you through a year. What is also nice about it is that you don't have to claim any income on what you make from your business so what you receive in EI is steady income. Maybe check with your local business centre/chamber of commerce and/or EI office? See what may be available in the US.

I am such a believer in self employment/entrepreneurship as a career choice. I know you will do well with it.

Sorry you were booted off. It was fun I really needed to be silly. Your business sounds great! I had a little art gallery once but it got boring being stuck there every day.
