Today is the day I officially move into my new apartment. I guess that's why I am wide awake at 5:30 in the morning. I hope I don't crash this afternoon. I have a bit of work to do at my old apartment before I can turn over the keys. I had started to strip the wallpaper and the top layer came off fine it was the bottom layer that stuck really good. So my mom came over yesterday and we got almost a whole wall done. After all my stuff gets out and I can get to the other walls better it should be ok.

My new apartment is nice. Let me take you on a virtual tour. As you walk into the living room/dining room/kitchen you notice the vaulted ceiling with the ceiling fan hanging from the center. In the dining area there is a nice lighting fixture over the table. In the kitchen there is a stove, sink, dishwasher (yea!!!) and a refridgerator. Next to the fridge you notice there is a door and you go through it...Bam you are in the bedroom. In the bedroom there is a ceiling fan also and a walking closet/laundry room complete with full sized washer and dryer. Next to that is another door...the bathroom. It has a sink, toilet, and shower/tub. I need to remember to take the shower curtain rod from the old apartment to the new one. Well that's it. I like my new apartment it is so bright and nice compared to the hole I was living in before.

Well I'll hopefully see you guys tonight. When I checked yesterday there wasn't a dial tone in my phone so hopefully they got that fixed. I'm out at my parents house now.

Thanks for the tour. It sounds like a nice place. I hate moving, but you do have a new adventure ahead as you make the new apartment your home. I'm happy for you.

As for decor....in my living room I have a Tim Ernst Print I will hang above my couch, The cabinets in the kitchen are lowered so I have room above to put stuff and I have some antique mason jars I will put up there with some of Mary Engelbreit stuff, In my bedroom I want to classy so I'm going to get some black and white pictures of Paris, Chicago and New York and frame those and hang. I'm not to sure about the bathroom though.
