I'm only 16 years old, and when my 17 year old boyfriend pretends to cry like a baby as a joke (It sounds quite like a real infant), I feel a very stong compulsion to hold him and comfort him. I don't know why it happens; I think it might be just maturnal instinct, but I'm not sure.

Doesnt sound weird to me. I am like that with my sister. I know other people that are similar. Maybe youre just nice?
