I've been really sad and working hard on the end of term projects in my science program. I cry a lot, though, and have a bunch of new physical pain. I was sick for a while and got behind on a couple of things. On the bright side, my husband is making leaps and bounds and while that is fantastic, sometimes I feel inferior as a result as well. Glad we aren't both failures.

So, if you have a hug to spare, please give me one in support and good will.

I'm not a fan of emoticons, so I won't hug ya that way. Just know that things will get better. When I was in school I was able to get "incompletes" when things got too rough. I'm sure if you explain your situation to someone in authority & have a letter from your therapist or pdoc things will be OK. In the mean time, take care of yourself.

No, I had to just keep going. I was sick and had to do fieldwork in the cold in the mountains and in the rain. Hence my cold dragging on forever and the pain reaching new depths. It was that or be unable to complete the course. But thanks for asking and thanks for responding.

Thanks everyone! You gave me encouragement and a feeling of hope in some tough days. (And to anyone else, more is still very welcome. I am dealing with end of term, summer job apps, and an injury that is going to require major time and effort to recover from.)
