Hi guys. I'm not sure where to post this, so it's going here. I don't know what to do. I guess I feel like a failure. I'm gonna end up either quitting my current job or getting fired tomorrow. Something happened to my knee and I can barely use it. I left early today to get it checked out, but alas, it keeps getting worse/harder to use. I am also now feeling nauseous and (TMI alert) already threw up once and am starting to feel like I will again. I also feel very weak in my upper body. I'm not sure if it's the feeling sick, or not being used to crutches or both. But I currently have the best job in my family. I am afraid of how long it'll take to get another job. I mean i feel like i could get one fast, but it just sucks having to be in this position.

Did you get your knee checked out, and if so what's wrong with it?

I'm so sorry you're having trouble with your leg/knee. I know how painful these things can be, as I have terrible problems with my spine.

You may just need to rest the knee for awhile. But for SURE, put ICE on it -- do NOT put heat on it. That will make it worse!!! Use ICE for 20 minutes every 2 hours, and that should help the swelling, inflammation & pain.

Make sure you see your doctor, okay?

God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee

I agree--get yourself checked out! I am sorry your boss is not understanding. It would be nice if they could hire someone temporary until they see if you can come back. You are not a failure!

I get nauseated when I'm in a lot of pain. I hope you feel better soon and it won't be anything very serious.....
