I've been on one of those. It was nice.

In depression . . . faith in deliverance, in ultimate restoration, is absent. The pain is unrelenting, and what makes the condition intolerable is the...feeling felt as truth...that no remedy will come -- not in a day, an hour, a month, or a minute. . . . It is hopelessness even more than pain that crushes the soul.-William Styron |

We have these walks quite frequently here in Erie, PA. They are sponsored by various groups and organizations.

I have never heard of these before. But I remember when I was just graduating from high school one of my friends died horribly and one night when I was out sitting with a friend we happened to look off in the distance and every single person in the grad class was out walking in a big group. It was a sad moment, but a special one.
