i got a kinda weird question.. what does it mean when someone says "your the apple of my eye"

out of all the "apples" out there, you're the one that appeals to this person.
 in other words, of the people this person knows, you're the one the stands out in some way. that's how i've always taken it to me...you're special. KD __________________
