The Croc Hunter's death stirs up memories of other
suprising nature driven deaths. I thought it might be interesting for us to post our local "Holy Cow" death stories. I'll go first. I live in a rural one lane, windy, skinny, tree lined roads world. A number of years ago, a young man was driving in to town to attend High School, An Oak Tree fell over onto his car as he passed and killed him. Boom. Gone. No warning from the tree beforehand. Straight out of the blue. The interesting sidenote is, the week before the tree got him, he had done a big report on trees for his schoolwork. Good reminder to live like "this is it", cause it just might be! __________________ |
