I went to the shop where my brace was made for me. The owners and workers there have become my friends. I pulled in and got out of the car and there was the man who tried to get into my car at the Dollar Store last week!!! He spoke and I went flying past him into the shop.

The man had been in there asking for money. He had frightened the receptionist. The shop is a long way from the Dollar Store...

Scary.

(((((((((Jan))))))))) Is there anything that can be done about him? Can you tell the police to be on the lookout or something?

That must have been frightening. Did they get the guy on a security camera at the store? We have a camera right at the door. If so, did the police get a picture of him from the video? I hope they catch him this way or by catching him when he tries to mess with someone else.

(((((((((((((( Friends ))))))))))))))

Thank you each and every one for responding. It means so very much to me.

Unfortunately, they have no video camera. I will mention it to the owners, though. It's been a family run business since the 50's. I'm sure it's never crossed their minds.

We all agreed that if the man comes back in there, they will call 911 immediately. I will also tell the police what he did at the Dollar Store.

My friend Cecil, one of the owners, and the person who made my brace talked to me about moving to a better neighborhood somehow and he wants me to stop shopping at that Dollar Store. He said my safety isn't worth the convenience or the gas I'm saving. He's right.

I'll make some phone calls tomorrow, but I'll be on a very long list...about three years long, I think. I'll know more tomorrow or the next day.

Thank you again, each and every one.

Jan
