hey everyone... i am back. i am laying on my couch with my leg propped up. the surgery went fine.they ended up scrapping some splinters off my femur bone so that my knee cap and femur would function right... pain??? do we need to talk about that???? yesterday i thought i was dieing...more sore than anything. but my doctor(George Clooney's twin) was nice and gave me some really good pills to take that help with the pain, however they make me sick to my stomach.. just thought i would give you guys an update..
thanks for all the get well wishes.. talk to you soon

Get better soon!!! But if you fake a lot of pain, maybe you can get some extra office calls to see the Twin! lol

Hmm, I wouldn't mind the pain for the twin!

I am so glad your surgery went well - hopefully you will be up and about in no time at all!

well today is day four post surgery... you would think by now the swelling would be gone and most of the pain would be gone..... wrong!!!!!! i can walk on my leg better than i did yesterday but it is still really swollen.. i tripped coming in the back door this after noon and ended up falling but i caught my self on the wall..... i guess i didint pick my foot up high enough and it hung on the back step. i then slammed my leg down and it buckled... talk about pain.... i have been crying ever since....
i had to finally break down and take a pain pill... i wish this knee would hurry up and heal already!!!!!!

Hi Mrb,
It's only been 4 days. You're going to have to let it rest otherwise you'll only prolong the healing process. My mother's knee took weeks to heal.
I'm sorry you're in such pain. Take care of yourself.

Ouch, yes it makes sense but it sounds really painful and hard to think about. Please, let it rest or you'll make the pain even worst.

I'm glad to have you back - sorry that its bothering you so much. Try to take it easy and SLOWLY because thats the only way it will have a chance to heal properly. Take as many of those pain meds as you need (at any time) it will help with the pain.

i am back Take care and glad to have you back!
