after attending court this morning and we have not been given any more time, im at a loss what to do now , we have just used the phone book and internet and local paper trying to find somewhere to go but there isnt a lot out there that take full dss(benifits), and very few that take pets, last resort would be to rehome the pets but i am at my wits end what to do we have just over a week to find somewhere to go

Do you have a disability counselor at all? Can they help? I'd "lend" the animals to an animal shelter first so you didn't have that worry until you get someplace where they can join you.

I hope you find someplace really great that works for you in many ways.

There are apartment buildings that are for the aged and disabled. They sometimes are privately owned and will help you hurry up and move. Call each of the ones in your area and see if any are privately owned. Disabled people get prefered treatment.

I wish you the best,

Jan

there are organisations and groups out there to help people in your situation.

i agree, you should "lend" your pets to a shelter. the priority right now is you, once you find a place for yourself, your animals could return to you. its not like you are giving them away for ever.

try contacting your local council, they will help in your situation. if i remember correctly, you live in cornwall. so there is definately that support there, its nationwide. they can and will help, as long as you make them aware.

i wish you all the best and my thougths are with you right now.

take care

thank you for you support we have made our local council aware we have a meeting with them on thurs we have been working with them they already said they will give us a carvan for 28 days but we still have to find somewhere elses to go after this, we are on the housing list but they just dont have enough propertys, private is going to be dificult because we have no referances and we are on benifits, so untill meeting on thurs when i think we are discussing being housed in a caravan , we have hubbys cpn and support worker attending as well
