I am supposed to design an advertisement for a preschool for my desktop publishing class. My instructor's daughter is opening a preschool and this is one of my projects is to make her an advertisment. What would you like to see on an advertisement. I am at a loss for what to do. HELP!!!

I bet safety is a major priority with all parents, especially with recent school events.

I might want to see some info/reassurance about that.

ok if this was one of the apprentise projects whats the first thing the teams do on that show-- meet with the person the job is for and find out what their needs, wants, expectations and ideas are that way no matter what you come up with it is already a 50 -80% hit with the person you are doing the job for.

This is basically a job you have a client - your instructors daughter who needs an ad for her business.

Meet with her and ask what kind of ad is she lookinng at or need, What is her preschools colors going to be, how many children is she looking at for clentel (sometimes people want their ads to depict a personal one on one approach of small preschool vs large angecy with many teachers and parents are gonig to want to know which type to expect even before they call and thats what the ad will do -inform parents)

Ask for business number and address so that info can be on the ad if client wants it too.

Ask her input as to what tpyes of toys are going to be available - a room or a playground or both that she may want pictured within the add,

find out if she wants her personal photo on the ad and so on.

basically involve the client in as many decisions as possible because the ad is for and about the client and their business.

I don't have children in the home still...but I think the concerns are pretty much the same: qualifications of adults, safety (includes ratio of adults to children, precautions, emergency procedures, and cleanliness), program, certifications, mission statement from the pre-school (what do they say are their goals?)

Make sure you show us what you come up with A question for those of you with preschool aged children
