Today is my mom's birthday! She passed away this past April and I miss her so much!! I wish I could be just half the woman she was...! I am so sad today...I wish I could be baking her a birthday cake!! I don't know what to do without her...She was my sunshine!

Thought the same thing. Bake the cake and celebrate your moms life and that she lives on in you. I lost my mom last year also.I hear her favorite songs on the radio sometime and I lose it. It is bittersweet.

My friend Cher loved her grandmother better than anyone in the world. Her grandmother passed. Every year, Cher bakes a birthday cake for her grandmother and celebrates her life. It might help you to do that for your mother. Jan
