I've been reading (while battling a headache) and I just read that yesterday was the 10 yr. anniversary of your weekly hosted chats...talk about dedication and care.

I then read about all the awards that Psych Central has accumulated...so impressive and something to be proud of.

Doc John, you just amaze me more and more in what you achieve...for awareness, inspiration, educating...all because you care and have dreams and goals based on that care.

You amaze me in that you have, and are, achieving so much and yet remain our consistent, caring, down-to-earth Doc John.

I'm honored to work with you and blessed to have experienced what appears to be 1/1,000 of your offerings.

It's late, and I'm sick, so I know that I'm not putting across all of my thoughts regarding my appreciation of your accomplishments and contributions...which are great and varied. You're a seemingly tireless advocate for, and neverending source of, mental health awareness and education.

With Respect,

KD

I am humbled by such words... Thank you for such appreciation!

It warms my heart to know there is such a community online of compassionate and caring people. It is simply wanting to help people that got me into my profession, and it was the Internet that got me to do it in the way that I'm doing it today. It would mean nothing if it meant nothing to others or didn't help others... If it is helping, then I'm serving my purpose in this lifetime.

I tend to be shy about our accomplishments here, because I see so many people tooting their own horns so often. So we'll just keep doing what we're doing and hoping we reach more and more people with each passing day.

Thanks again,
John

<font color="darkgreen">[b] It's good to know that you have found your niche, and included me (us at PC) in it. Whatever you are doing, keep on, for it's definitely working. I think you don't have to worry about more and more people coming here every day, for the word is definitely OUT THERE: this is the number one mental health support site in the whole wide world. WOW!

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of PC. You do the work and I get to sit and greet the new members, how kewl is that??? I appreciate having this avenue as a default for my shortened career, while I work on finding "me" again.

That, as well, is something you've been consistent about. No, you've never tooted any horns.

Your work reaches and helps people, Doc John, never doubt that.

Alright, I could go on and on (I actually wanted to...lol) but I won't push your shy nature further. Doc John - You Truly Amaze Me

I just want to say a big thank you for being who and doing what you do.

I have double, triple, quadruple and many more checked the Yahoo and Ask search engines for sites that would be of help. PC has been one of the most dedicated, hopeful, wonderful sites I have been to. It has helped me so much and pulled me through rough times making things helpful and the WWW's Mental Health nifty same for lots of others. PC is a truly great site! Doc John thanks for all of your efforts and hard work to make such a nice site!
