yesterday we looked in the paper for the list of houses in social housing no three bed available this time, so we looked at private a couple caught our attention so i rang one company they dont take pets or dhss, so thats us out, hubby phoned another yes they take pets and dhss but because the council take so long to sort out payments could we pay 3mths rent and a deposit up front, this would be nearly £2000 pound we havent got this sort of money,
the owner of the b+b still hasnt recieved any payment from the council yet but he says as long as we keep on at them hes ok , said we are welcome to stay there over christmas, this would be ok if the children can be with us, as he and his wife are going to see there children, would like to find a home before then but things dont look like we will, __________________ No kind action ever stops with itself. Must be so stressful living that way, not having a place to call your own. One thing my husband told me a couple of years ago that has always stuck in my head and is absolutely true...."We always get what we need". It may not be our idea of what we need, but things do work out. You're in my prayers! Hugsssssssss Jean |

our situation was looking a bit brighter yesterday morning with hope looking forward to the weekend but before we had chance to get back to pick son up from school we had a phone call asking us to go to the council, so worried about what they wanted we went and requestedto see the person that wanted to see us, she was there to tell us that housing benifit wouldnt pay for us to stay at the b + b so we owe the owner of the b + b quite a bit of money, and then as we were leaving she sugested getting everyone togeather early next week for a meeting,
these people includ mental health team and social services and us and housing options, housing options can only give us advice, so far not that helpfull social services said there wasnt anything they could do , so this meeting is not looking very usefull, in the mean time the owner of the b + b have left us stay the weekend and we have handed over what money we have and promised him more next week, he also sugested us signing something so he could take out what we owe him when the house is sold, hes been ok so far we didnt mean to run up a bill the housing benifit people never even sugested they wouldnt pay towards us staying in b + b __________________ No kind action ever stops with itself.
