our abcess has gone yay, we are still on antibods for at least another week though and we still have not had the teeth removed yet, we have to wait til the antibods have done there job before the dentist will remove them

the dentist wasnt happy that we cut the abcess ourself, but sod him he wasnt the one in pain, we may have made a mistake by having a go at him verbally has he was the one that repaired the teeth in the first place even after we asked him not to bother and to remove them, he talked us out of it saying they were saveable,we were right the first time, if he had taken them out when we asked we would not have got this infection.

we have had to stop our normal meds whilst we are on these antibods has we are not reacting well to them, our baby snakes are doing just fine and all is nearly well in the land of mellors

Teeth and gum pain is something I am all too familiar with. My eyetooth had a big cavity a year ago. I procrastined the filling, then 6 months later they said it needs a root canal. I put that off, and now it needs to be pulled. I knew if I waited long enough...Glad your feeling better, the snakes are happy, and all is well in your world!

That seems like pretty good news Mellors.

I'm glad you got some antibiotics and that the dentist is going to help you out - sounds extraordinarily painful.

Take care of yourself.

Sounds very painful, Mellors. I'm glad you have some meds to help out.

I've been going a "dental restoration" at a nearby dental school for the past 18+ months myself. It's very slow, but a good deal cheaper. I hate it all.

Hi Mellors,

I'm so glad the infection has gone away. I can't even imagine how painful that must have been.
I hope the dentist can pull them soon and you will be able to get back on your regular meds.
Take care and wishing you the best,
Linda

I am so sorry that you are having to go through so much. I hope that your infection soon is good enough that you can get your teeth taken care of.
