I find myself getting dumber and more clumsy lately. Over the past 5-6 months I've gotten slower, been slurring my words more, and have not been making the righ† decisions. I find myself saying "Oh" to people a lot becuase I was*wrong or didn't realize something right of the bat.

It's getting worse. I'm turning into an idiot. Please help me.

well seffering18,

be calm and don't panic. go check at hospital. and listen what doctor say. maybe you can discover something about your illness. in my opinion maybe your brian become less productive or dying. in this case you can try ginko biloba and package ginseng panax with other herbs. coz your body need that food to growing back. go check doctor first.

Hello and welcome to Psych Central! I agree that you need to see about getting a medical check-up. Please make an appointment with a doctor as soon as you can. Okay?

Are you on any medications? Is there anything, physical (an injury/illness/other) or emotional (loss/event/...) that you connect with the onset of these problems? Are you using/abusing drugs (alcohol, over the counter meds, prescription meds, street drugs/ ANY) ?
Be honest with yourself. Eliminate what may contribute. BUT. Also, as others have said, go to a doctor and get a complete physical exam (& be honest with your doctor if you do associate the onset with Anything that has happened in your life that might be related)

& let us know how you are doing. ((((hug))))

I feel that way too sometimes. I get stuck on autopilot & just go through the motions of my routine. My brain seems to "go to sleep" on me & I'm constantly having to find ways to stimulate it & "wake it up." But I agree that you should talk to a Dr to make sure nothing is wrong.
