Ok Desirae, if you don't mind I 'll continue to use YOUR siggy as an example, with no negative thinking ok?

125 x 600 is the pixel size limit suggested.

yours Desirae, 459 x 280 pixels. which if adjusted could be 125 x 614 that would still be really close to the goal. (I adjusted total pixel by subtracting the 125 suggested from the 459 leaving 334 pixels "overage" but since there is allowance of 600 and she only had 280 I added the 334 to the 280 which made that "side" 614. This gives an overall count of 125 x 614.

The bytes are computed in kilobytes so by taking her 21676 bytes and putting that into kb that makes 21.676 kb... well within the guidelines.

If I'm not figuring this correctly, let me know, because I worked on this from the last discussion to be sure I was always close to the guidelines (and under it if possible.)

I know some ppl are having trouble with the sizes allowed (dial up slowing) but Desirae, I like your siggy anyway Signature Size Guidelines

(Yes, I could have taken her pixel size of the image and flipped it around so it listed as 280 x 459 and done the same process (280-125= 155 which I would add to the 459 + 155 = 614)

I suggest we create a new acronym for when we post pics on a thread... POT (for Pictures On Thread) that would warn anyone without time for loading...

POT is fun to think of (silly actually) but is simple enough to remember and if everyone uses the same thing, it will remove confusion? (I don't care if you think of a kitchen pot, or the in-some-places-legal-stuff, for now it means PICTURES ON THREAD!!!
