I know no one here is a professional, but hopefully someone know what this is.
NOTE:This is NOT me,this is one of my "friends". She will make you really happy support you, bring you places, get you presents & get you to really close/good friends. She would get you really close to her. She would invite me over, we'd hang out She then would bring you down, make you feel depressed,,make fun of you,& just be completely rude.I told her a huge secret, & she told other people. She is also very manipulative, has threaten to hurt herself, or hurt people emotionally, & physically.Throughout the whole relationship, she would just be very controlling(she never wanted me to hang out with anyone). She is compulsive, & possibly a pathological liar. |

Sounds similar to BPd but that does not mean she has that. Depending on her age I would not even say that. It could be a lot of different things, from being a bully who is insecure and feels better about themselves by putting others down (even people they are sometimes nice to) to some psychological disorder, or a strong fear of abandonment, there really is no way to tell. Don't let her bring you down, there are a lot of bad people in this world and they are not worth being around.
Either way this girl clearly has some self esteem or control problems. __________________ “I'm so good at beginnings, but in the end I always seem to destroy everything, including myself.” “I told her once I wasn’t good at anything. She told me survival is a talent.” |

Could be similar to BPD but again since she is under 18 I don't think therapists like to diagnose anyone under 18 with that. It also could just be self esteem issues, anger control problems, abandonment problems, it is hard to tell because I do not know her history or her life nor am I qualified or anyone else here to diagnosis someone. If she is affecting your life in a negative way then I would just distance myself.

I just want to say it hurts me the first thought is she has BPD :/ I am nothing like this so I would not say BPD. Sounds more narcissistic or just like she's a mean person, doesn't have to be a mental illness.

Honestly somebody I trusted decided to "diagnose" me and I'm thinking told other since we were in the same peer support group. First he was wrong. Second it really hurt to be bucketed by somebody who isn't really in the position professionally or ethically. I already had a diagnosis I was working on and he knew it. I really didn't want to be labeled behind my back. Am I getting correctly that this is somebody you had a relationship with? If you had a "diagnosis" meaning somebody here gave you a description that makes sense, what would you do with that information? Please think this through.

Then this exercise make even less sense to me. I'd be relieved to have her gone.
