in general its having symptoms that seem like psychosis/ or psychotic symptoms (hallucinations, delusions, not really in tune with whats real....) but the symptoms are not really psychosis/psychotic.... they just seem/appear to be..psychotic symptoms....

a common example that happens to me is seeing something that isnt real a shadow , or blip in front of me. this can fall into seeming like a psychotic episode but in reality its a flashback, it just appears to be a psychotic symptom.

This made a lot of sense! Thanks! I tried to look it up online but found little information. We worked it out a little bit at work (I work at a hospital) and ended up just having to figure out the basis of quasi which pretty much meant "to resemble, appear like, possessing certain attributes." It's a common characteristic of Schizotypal pd and Borderline and brings a whole new meaning of clarity!
