I saw this on lifehacker. The idea is it takes about 90 minutes to cycle through all 5 phases of sleep. So set your clock to wake you at the end of a sleep cycle and you'll wake more rested. I wake in the middle of the night a lot so now I am noticing it is about 1.5 or 3 (+|-) hours after I go to sleep. Kind of cool!

That's interesting. I'm going to keep track and see if when I wake up is some multiple of 90 minutes.
