I was wondering if one should believe that the knowledge he has anyone else can have and what one can do others can do as well (note: Thinking otherwise would be narcissism (like thinking that I know what people don't know or I can do what people can't do as if one has superpowers)). Then, how can one have self-confidence????!!!!!!
Please help!!!! |

I think self confidence comes when we are comfortable with ourselves. I also think that it isn't necessarily black and white. I think there are times we are confident either based on our mood or what we know. I don't think anyone can give us our self confidence.
Me? As a whole, I am not self confident, but there are times during my day that I am comfortable with what I am doing and consider that self confidence. |

Hi zizo, I'd say that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. So there will be somethings you're good at/better than average at/even amazing at, maybe.
Whether those are things like certain tasks/abilities, having knowledge in certain areas, or more on an emotional level e.g. understanding/empathizing with others, having compassion or instinctual abilities......and I'm sure there's a lot more areas than those!!!! So whatever strengths you have, make sure you recognize them, (they will be there!!) give yourself real credit for them, feel proud of them (!!), and let them give you confidence. As for weaknesses, well we all have them. So any you can improve on, with or without help, then go for it!! But if not then, it's all part of being human, it can still be OK. Alison |

i agree with Frankbtl and let your strenghts make you feel comfortable, then you can deal or work on your weaknesses too
