Hi
Just wanted to check in, to say hi. i got home from my holiday in scotland about 2 hours ago. i had the most special time EVER!! the best christmas ive had, by far! the landscape and scenery was absolutley inspirational, and i ended up writing a couple of songs up there which hold so much potential, so i will begin work on them very soon. the holiday house i was in was minutes from a mountain, which takes 2 hours to get to the top on foot, so i walked up there wednesday and took some breath-taking pictures. i will be uploading them onto PC now, so check them out and tell me if you agree with me when i say that the view from the top of that mountain was stunning. i just sat there for a short while looking over the world, appreciating everything for what it is. i wasnt up there long as the weather turned very cold (it was very high as you can see from the pics), and it got dark quickly too, so i had to descend quickly, and i didnt have another chance to go up there again. it truly was magical, that holiday. and christmas was wonderful too. spending it with my family was good, and everyone got on, no arguements and everyone was very happy for the week. i am upset to be home, but i know 2007 holds many good things so i have to look ahead and keep the memories close to my heart. i was unable to take pictures of the house i stayed in, so here is the link to the website of the house. and the pics of the view from the mountain are on the PHOTOS section now, http://www.littleholidayhouses.com/cottage/38.asp I hope you all had a good time over christmas and i look forward to hearing your stories from this season. i missed you all and thought of you all everyday i was away. simon |

 You didn't take me!!  LOL Just kidding! The house is gorgeous and your pics are stunning!! I'll be sure and show them to DH. His parents were from Scotland and he an our youngest have visited. I'm SOOO glad you had a good time!

really glad to see you back simon ( though you knew that already!
). so glad you had such a great holiday too! i was walking in the scottish mountains last april and they took my breath away. not just from the climbing but the view too i mean! lol. i found such an incredible peace there. i was with a group but even then i could feel the beauty of the solitude all around. inspiring! will check the photo section soon!thanks for posting about your good times. its nice to see that things go right sometimes too! take good care, biiv |
