today we had to make a decision about our cat, we brought him here last saturday as we couldnt aford to keep him at the kennels we are not allowed pets here and having him here is risking us being made homeless again and i can not do that again, so i spent some time on the phone trying to rehome him we have managed to get rspca to take him we should of had a blood test done on his kidneys and liver because he is a older cat, and they have trouble rehomming older cats if he has problems with his organs they will have to put him down, this was a hard decission to make but i dont want to risk making our selves homeless again,
on top of that we were meant to be conected to broadband yesterday but have spent several hours on the phone to try and sort out why we cant conect , after speaking to at least 8 ppl and doing there simple tasks over and over we are still not conected but while we wait for them to run there test and get me to do what they ask we cant even access our dial up, i feel like telling them to cancell it and change provider

Oh Kathryn,

I am so sorry that you have to make that decision about your cat, but I completely understand why. It's not worth taking the chance of being homeless again.

I do hope that the rspca will take your cat and give it to a good home.

Boy, do I understand the frustration of trying to get DSL. The same thing happened to me. The 1-800 number they gave me to call to sign up, I ended up being on the phone for five hours total and talking to several people. Finally, they got me going.
I know you are frustrated but hang in there. DSL is worth the wait.

Good luck to you,
Hugs,
Boopers

THe whole DSL thing will get sorted, don't worry about that... in my experience most people have trouble at first because all the settings everywhere have to be right and it's just a matter of a digit here or womething there sometimes... but once you got it working you won't look back....

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty cat... it must be horrible to let go of something you have come to love so much, they just have a way of getting in your heart... (well some anyway, not the one who attacked my cat)

But you have to put yourself first, and just the fact that you are so tormented over this show how caring and selfless you are.... I wish you all the best... and give the DSL guys all hell!!!!

I am so sorry about your old kitty. You made the right choice. A cage is no place for a cat.

we took the cat over to the rspca this was hard but we managed to do it.

we are still experiencing problems with broadband they cant decide why first they say they have a fault then they tell me its our windows xp is at fault, spent all afternoon checking this out we can get online but it keeps cutting out we even had a friend over with his laptop and who knows what they are doing, but all they say is wait untill tomorrow, and they will do another line check this is very frustrating

I am so sorry about your cat. You did the right thing.

I had a little dog I rescued from the streets that I placed in a loving home when I was homeless for a time. She was a little escape artist though. She ran away and was run over. So sometimes giving the pet a merciful end may be better. Even in a loving home, if they don't know the animal's peculiarities, something can go wrong.

I am so sorry for your loss. Take care.
