I know we can't really discuss suicide around here, but does anyone know anywhere to talk about medical suicide? I'm close to the end. So yes, I'm really curious.

by medical suicide do you mean making plans on your own or with a treatment provider to commit suicide... if so since active suicide and planning a suicide are not topics for discussion on psych central you probably will not find such a forum/threads/ and posts here on psych central.

what I can tell you is that in some USA states it is illegal to commit assisted suicide (your word medical suicide.) here is a link that shows which states its allowed in and which states its still considered to be a crime of murder, manslaughter and other crimes....if you are in one of the states that allows assisted suicide all you need to do is contact your treatment providers and possibly go through a court process to prove its in your best interest that your treatment providers should help you commit suicide rather than prolong your life with medical interventions. once you have court approval you and your treatment providers will be able to work out all the details (that cant be discussed here )

I found this forum in which you can discuss the medical/assisted suicide. You are right, unfortunately we cannot discuss this topic here at PC.

I also found another site that may or may not interest you.

I will keep you in my prayers.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
