I posted in the new members area but thought I'd toss my question out here as well to try and reach perhaps a broader audience. I've been treated for depression for the past 6 months. Effexor and weekly therapy has been very helpful. the past month has been quite good. Today, for no reason that I can come up with, I woke up with almost all of my depression symptoms back. It has really scared me. Is it going to just be today? My life had become so much more "normal" in respect to my family, work, etc that this has been very disheartening. I don't know whether this is "normal" or not and if it is how people cope with "bad days".

Thanks in advance for your support.

Be strong. Try not to think about anything negative. I know how bad days feel like, trust me. When you feel sad, write it down. Do some sort of physical activity or do what I do. I listen to music and sing along. My happiness comes out in a second. Sometimes these bad days do come and go. But dont wait for them. You have my support.

Hope you are feeling better soon...yes bad days do happen...but if it lingers longer than a couple days talk to your doc...could be a switch time for meds...
