The "Last seen: Today (02/24/07) at 02:54 pm" info that appears in my profile and is available to non-members, can you opt out of that? Because if it says last seen at 3:12 and it's 3:14, chances are the person is online and might as well be visible.

You can go to your "edit profile" and change it to "invisable" and also change it to "private", then no one can see that you are line in the forums or in the members on-line list.
As for the Last seen date and time. That's a Great Question. I have never been able to figure that out on my site so MODS let me know if you do here

That has always been around........... when you check who is online.

But if I was anonymous...you wouldn't know when I was last "seen" online.

Now if you click on my name you will see when I was last "seen"

Non-members can now see this.

PS... Anyone else who likes to remain anonymous, click on Forums then the Member List. You will see your name unless you change it again in your profile.

The last seen on date is new.

I am still listed as PRIVATE on the Who's Online ......... but you can see INFO on ME (as usual) - you just do not see the Name (Rhapsody) listed next to the INFO.

And - the INFO on your profile just shows the last time you were here around the PC website.

YEAH..................... but that is just to introduce us all to New Members, and for old Member wanting to find someone else that deals with the same issues as they do.

This INFO is no different than when you click on a members name. Most of the INFO on here is nothing different - other than you can find it in another location.

I just logged out and clicked on a name and saw the current "last seen"

It's okay. I'm over it.

Thank you for continuing to take member privacy seriously. It is an important matter that needs revisiting any time changes are made to the community about how a member's information is used and who has access to it and when.
