I just got a call from the Text, Talk, Act people, and we apparently won with the most people who called into the texting line!

That means our affiliated non-profit, the Psych Central Community Connection, will get $1,000. (And remember, as a member, you have access to the micro-grants that are available through the non-profit!)

Thank you to all members who participated in the event last Monday -- your participation helped support our non-profit. What a great turn-out and effort on everybody's part!!

Stuff like this reminds me what makes Psych Central such a great community. It's because of YOU, our members that we can help achieve such great things.

Best,
DocJohn

Great news. It also says a lot about the members here being proactive for mental health! Go psych central!

No, I think it was a one-time thing to try and increase mental health awareness in the U.S. We're happy to have participated in it this year; if it happens again, we'll be sure to let you know.

Best,
DocJohn

How did the "Blog for mental health day" turn out?
