well, here in the UK Mothers Day is on sunday the 18th March - this coming sunday.
My mum is no longer among us, she has been deceased now for 6 years so i thought i would make a Happy Mothers Day wish to each one of you who are mums and grans...and to those, like me, whos mother is no longer with us. i will be spending the day with my Nan, who you may be aware has just come out of hospital. So heres a warm (early) mothers day wish to all you wonderful people out there! and a shout out to my mum of course, where ever she may be! Simon |

Thanks for posting that Simon. I'm sorry your mum has passed on. I hope you still feel her love and presence with you. I'm glad you're spending the day with your nan. I bet she'll love that. I once took my mum and my nana to a Roger Whittaker concert for Mother's Day and they both said it was the best Mother's Day they had ever had. I lost my nana a couple of years later, so I'm so glad I spent that special day with her.
I live in Canada, so the 18th isn't Mother's Day here, but it is my birthday. So, I will definitely be talking to my mum on that day and telling her I love her and thanking her for giving birth to me. I think it's appropriate to say thanks to a mum on one's birthday, don't you? ![]()
