anyone else getting a pop-up here about a questionaire?

this is the only place that i get it. i get no popups because i have a popup blocker. i got it twice last night and once this morning.

Yes, and also ones from Circuit city I think? They are pop-overs from what I can tell... sneaking through? IDK usually when DocJohn changes or adds things like this he gives us warning... so maybe we'll see?

I am on the school computer and we have a strong pop-up blocker and still I got the circuit city one and when I thought I clicked the close it popped up again and again.

Can you give me a specific URL or thread that you came across one on?

I have to see who's responsible in order to get them turned off. All of our advertisers already know we don't do pop-ups or pop-unders, but sometimes they run one anyway and we have to go and harass them about it.

I'll get them next time DocJohn. One is a questionaire about usage of the internet, and another is Circuit city ad.

I've gotten the survey one and the ones from the rollover ad there is on the bottom of the page. The rollover ads are annoying because I alway accidently rollover them. Next they'll have rollover blockers.

I need the URL of the forum post or forum that you're getting a pop-up ad, not the ad itself...

I'm not getting any pop-ups. I'm using Firefox and it's doing a very good job of blocking pop-ups.

i've gotten them with the smilies or by hitting reply. will pay more attention.....pat

I know, there are always snags....

I get a notice that a pop-up tried to occur when I get a private message, but I haven't noticed it other times. I use Firefox, plus I have a great extension for it called NoScript.

Oh, and a tip: Anytime you post a long URL, to keep it from stretching the post area across the browser window, don't post the link bare or simply wrapped in URL BB code. Do it like this:
