My daughter had her ultrasound today (she was five months pregnant this past Thursday). IT'S A BOY! Ah, there's no doubt.
What a blessing that everything, but everything, looks fine and perfectly formed for this little soul especially considering my daughter's grave's disease, the tachycardia, the many meds she has to take, the antibodies, etc. It's a miracle that she got pregnant and is still pregnant, a mega-miracle that everything's going well with baby. Daughter is still very ill, but maintaining. Also, y'all might remember that during the hardest part of this, my oldest girl announced she was pregnant. She miscarried days later. She's pregnant again! She got pregnant just a couple of weeks later! She's already had an ultrasound and the sac showed in a good position, implanted in the uterine lining. I was praying that she'd get pregnant again quickly so that to help her grief as youngest's pregnancy continued and help youngest with feeling guilt and not feeling she can openly share her joy. About the time youngest will be delivering, oldest will be feeling her baby move and grow... How blessed are we??? Yes, there's still LOTS of concern and difficulty, though. Will y'all PLEASE keep my girls in your thoughts, prayers and meditations? Also, please keep me in them as well so that I can be what they need. Love, KD Also... Get this! My youngest found out she was pregnant on Christmas Eve last year. My oldest had her first symptom of this pregnancy on Easter Day and will be delivering sometime close to Christmas... __________________ |

hehe. daughter said he was drinking the water and open and closed his little mouth like a fish. then he opened it for a long time and she asked the tech what he was doing and she said he was yawning. hehe.
we got some really good pics. one was of his little feet side by side perfectly...all 1 1/2 inches of them. He's almost one pound. it was very obvious that he's a little boy. he helped them well there. they also got a little profile pic and just all kinds of really good pics. i'm so excited. Congratulations!
So happy to hear you are going to be a grandma. My daughter in law has Crohn's disease and because of the meds there was concern for the babies. I consider myself very lucky to have 2 grandsons. Talk about lucky, the oldest was born on Halloween and the youngest was born on New Year's Eve. |
