I have suffered from fairly severe chemical depression and anxiety since 1990. For over twelve years, Immipramine and Traxene treated my symptoms very well. About two years ago, the effectivness of these drugs decreased, substantially. Since then, I've been on Zolfot, Effexor, Notryptiline, and Zyprexa. And I've had little benefit. My current psyciatrist seems rather inept, and my depression and anxiety are in dangerous levels (72 on the quiz at this site). Does anyone have a Los Angeles psychiatrist that they really like and in which they really trust? Please share.
