I just want to pick the brains of those of you who obtained one.

And it may not be 100% translate able - I am inquiring concerning someone with a purely physical disability.

The basic questions:

How do you qualify?

Who decides?

Who pays the cost? Does insurance or Medicare cover it?

This is a very interesting question.

I will be very fascinated to hear members responses who have personally done this or know of someone who has.
