Me: I was trying very hard to not make a nuisance of my self by contacting you, but I failed. Do you think you might be interested?

Ex: You do not make a nuisance of yourself. I am interested. Do you want a pickup, or do you want to meet me there. Either way, what time?

Me: I was really was hoping you would chuckle and tell me what a good imagination I have. Oh for having to live real life....I secretly love living my life.

Ex: At one time in my life I probably would have been convinced that you had a good imagination - somewhere along the line I've learned that truth is in fact stranger than fiction. Considering how strange fiction can be ....

I like that you love living your life - not sure about the idea of doing it secretly....

In any event, this is what it is, and I still think it makes sense to use the resources available to you, so you can get on with that wonderful life. If you had been given the internship, the "regular" way, you have no idea what went on behind the scenes to create that position, to decide how it would be granted, to decide who would get it at any given time, etc. etc. Might be far more nefarious things behind it than behind your current option.

Me: Thank you.

Changed my mind about getting together. Sent several emails On my confusion as to what took place today and my presentation tomorrow night.

Ex: If we don't dare to open our mouths then we abandon all hope of change. We are not always heard when we speak, or not always heard by the person we want to hear us ... and sometimes someone else hears, and remembers, and thinks about it, and shares it with someone else, and on it goes, and one day someone hears who has more power, or is in the right place, and the ripple of change begins.

May tomorrow go ever so well for you - as I am sure it will.

I feel so lucky!

Wow! I wish I was more motivated today to get work done and stop playing the day away.

All the Starbucks closed because of a system malfunction. That's my other home , eecially if I'm want to be productive. Lost my license (where I don't know) and could not drive with a good conscience. And, the bus system sucks. I guess I could lift, uber or taxi, but that's a necessity tomorrow night and Sunday if I don't find my license. I've already given up looking.

Me: "Thanks for sharing in my joy, today."

Ex:"Thanks for sharing your joy with me. I am so very happy for you."

I was able to knock it out of the ball park, because people care.
