Alright so I finally got a pretty good therapist to see consistently, specifically a trauma therapist. We have made some progress, more than I feel I've made with the CBT approach most other therapists I've seen use. I guess it is EMDR or whatever except there is no eye movement stuff...we use other means of focus or whatever. Anyways things are going good with that...now here comes the confusion.
So basically I was doing my mental health stuff therapy/check ups with the psychiatrist for meds and/or changing them if needed...as well as regular doctor appointments and check ups all in one place through a program they have called a Health Home. Well this therapist does not go to that office location....so they said they could make an exception for me to go to another office to see her but still remain part of this Health Home. Well now I find out apparently I have been removed from that program, may have to change psychatrists(which I don't care too terribly much so long as they don't change my medications/dosage). Not to mention now this therapist will be going to a different office at a location I have not yet been to and don't quite know where is....so will have to change where I see her to. Just seems like whenever I feel like things are starting to go smoothly with treatment plans and having an established mental/general health treatment thing established.....it all falls into shambles and I am left trying to sort out the big mess it leaves in my head. And as is its bad enough that I have a hard time remembering appointments...that is not the only thing i have a hard time remembering, but as is its hard enough just remembering and making it without them going and changing things, throws off any form of routine I might attempt to establish.

Don't fight this alone... let your new therapist try to work things out in the background... good wishes.
