Some of you folk that live in the northern areas, would you please send at least a cool breeze down to us in the south?? It's 90 degrees out there! I died when it reached 80!!!

OOOOOOhhhhhh Septembermorn you poooooorrrr baby. Try living up in Nova Scotia. I still have snow in my backyard. Not much but it's still there. I would give anything to be south now. As a matter of fact, I have been going to the FAKE AND BAKE for a little tan. I have to pay for it. lol

Alright now, you lizard! LOL I know you're loving it... but I'm hating it! YUK The "glowing" I can sure do without, just like the headaches and lethargy!

This evening was sure wonderful, though. It's cooled down to 70 and my lizard built a fire in his new fire pit and we sat by the fire and talked with neighbors. If he hadn't had a few too many beers, we'd still be out there, but he was getting a bit loud. LOL LOL

Seventy degrees at night is perfect. That's the only thing I miss about hot weather is the warm nights. (sigh!)

You're welcome to all our hot weather here, Sundance. Too bad I don't know how to get it to where you're at! I'll take cold anytime cause you can just turn up the heater or put an extra blanket on. With the heat, there is only so many clothes you can take off, ya know?

I suppose I could go to the swimming pool, but it's in full sun and I'm already brown as a berry! YUK I don't like getting dark. Give me the cold anyday!

Heather, who posts here sometimes, also lives in Nova Scotia and she told me they woke up to snow the other day. It's beyond my comprehension at this time of year. That's okay, I'll pass on the snow for now.

How about you send me some in the morning? They say it's gonna be another scorcher tomorrow.

I'm sorry - I hate hot weather too. I'll send you some cool air from the Midwest - right now it's 46 degrees.

I prefer the cold too.......you can get all warm in your blanket and snuggle. When it's hot, you just sweat..........yuck!

Ah, the ice has finally left us, we bypassed Spring and it is close to Summer here, I do not like this climatic change, I want Spring and true Autumns back, for some reason we only get 2 seasons and it use to be 4
Global warming? Ah, who knows, eh?

Who knows what it is. I do know I don't like it! We went from winter into late Summer here. Doesn't usually get this hot until August. I lost my whole crop of lettuce to this darned heat!

If I don't find a cool place to hide, the same thing is gonna happen to me.

Gee, I hope not, you add fun to this place .
Lettuce is tricky with increased temps, some head type will start to "bolt", meaning they will not form the nice round ball and just go straight up, maybe a late season (summer) crop will be the best alternative? just teasing you about the alternative crops.

This was bib lettuce. I think I'll just grow it in a long flowerbed on the deck where it won't get any sun. Sure was looking forward to fresh salad grown in my own garden! I'll just have to wait a bit longer, I guess.

I've been sitting out on my deck and letting the hose run and splashing my feet in it. From where I was sitting, I could see the little rubber plastic pool I have for the little grandkids. Don't think I wasn't tempted! LOL Only thing is, I wouldn't be able to get out of it! LOL

Funny you mentioned that pool, when my son was a toddler, yes, I, "mom" sat in it too and then one of my mom's dogs came in to, it was so funny almost bursting. . . but we had fun and kept cool, got fresh air

Well, it's about 30 here so if I could send you a cool breeze, I definitely would. However, I must say, the colder the better in my opinion so I'm liking this alot. I couldn't live in 90 degree heat for more than 5 seconds. Yuck.
