What is "profile elevation" on a mmpi-2 test?

Also, what is the average range for L, F, and K scale?

Is scoring high on the Ma = Hypomania a bad or good thing?

L F and K scales are validity scales....how truthful you are being, how defensive you are being, that kind of thing.

ma=hypomania is your level of activities, those questions you marked about whether you get tired easily, are physically active, fatigued...

talk with your treatment provider they can go through the test results with you in a more directly related to you, your problems and how you answered the test questions.

Yep that's a great test ... it eliminates answers where you might have been confused, or for those who deliberately try to alter the outcomes, it catches those too. There are many built-ins that help the results be true.

If you did your best, don't worry, the test will bear it out. It's really an identifier. Taking a test, or receiving a diagnosis changes nothing that you are experiencing --you are still you and now the doctor will have a better understanding of what treatment you need.

We can't give expert advice here, as AL says, your doctor will explain what you need to know.
