another long day today at the doctor, that kept me off the computer all day. i'm going back there on the 20th. he is going to try to work something out with insurance, so that is good.
tonight i'm just going to relax with friends (the tv show, not people but i'll probably watch it with my dog winston (he's stuffed but he likes the same tv shows i like. go figure))i shaved just now, first time in months. goal for this weekend is to get a haircut. haven't had a haircut in 7 months. i'll probably cry during friends, that's gonna feel good. and maybe some cookie dough ice cream. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

OK, does anyone have a doubt that Ross and Rachel are going to get married tonight? I'm betting that Rachel stays in New York.

They did not get married, but she did stay in New York.. YIPPIE> !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And could you beleive TWINS for Monica and chandler.. I had never cried so hard during a final eposide in my life.. I can not beleive that it is over.. I just wish I could stay up and watch the late show..tonite cause they are doing a special on the final goodbye to friends... and it would be wonderful to watch that... *tears roll off my cheeks.. *** WEll I am off to bed now.. Oh, lordy, Dave! You made my heart skip a beat when I read that you were going to relax with friends. LOL I read faster than my brain can work so it saved me falling out of my chair with the leap of joy I was getting ready to take! hehehe
You know, it's funny about dogs, stuffed or otherwise. They don't mind what you watch on TV or listen to on the radio. They'll always sit quietly next to you and get excited when you do and droop their ears when you get sad. You shaved?? awwwww But I like my men hairy! And you're gonna cut your hair??  Well... if it makes you happy, then it makes me happy. MMMMM... Can I have a bowl of that ice cream when you get ready to have some? LOL Yeah, I know... you can't upload it. SPOILERS BELOW if anyone hasn't seen it yet, don't read!
i watched the two hour special last night and watched the whole retrospective tonight, so i'm pretty "specialed" out, anyway i wanted the show itself to be the last thing i watched. i really thought ross was going to go to paris. i thought him showing up in paris would be the "big suprize", especially since they made a big deal of him getting tenure a few weeks ago (so it would have been a big sacrifice for him) and especially since no one all night mentioned that possibility. i woul dhave thought phoebe would have said "go to paris to tell her" or something and i thought they were trying to keep that thought out of our heads for the suprize. the really really cool thing though is that pretty much any time something like this happens i would be REALLY upset because i think giving up the opportunity to work in paris is something rachel shouldn't have passed on. not because of going to paris but because it is a huge step in her career. normally i would say that she and ross if they were meant for each other would work it out and she shouldn't have to give up the job. and usually when that happens on tv i'm thinking "these two are going to have a fight and get divorced in two years and she/he will never get that opportunity again" but tonight although i was thinking a lot about her giving up the job, i didn't feel like it was something she will necessarily regret. i think because there is no doubt that they have a future together no matter what happens next. so thinking about it i guess i wasn't disappointed because i didn't feel like she gave up a job to be with ross, i felt she made a choice between two possible futures. and i think she chose wisely. but can you BELIEVE that he brought up the "break" thing right at the end! did anyone else want to slap him?! I liked it though because i think that is part of why this will work. they are not forgetting or ignoring the troubles they've been through... if they had what would be to stop ross having a jealous fit again etc. instead they acknowledge it and want to work to put that behind them and make it work. it was a great ending but my favorite "suprize" moment will always be when monica proposed to chandler (second being monica coming from under the blankets in london). That is not a subjective opinion, i definitely cried way more at the proposal. not to say this was a let down in any way, i'm not sure i want anything to trump that moment in the apartment with the candles. and i don't care, i just still love chandler. "wanna get some coffee?" "yea! where!" I was also hoping they would put gunther in the last episode and giv ehim some closure so i was glad to see him. As great as that was though, nothing killed the moment more than the back of the naked man on ER . yea i think that is for the best too. getting married would ahve been pushing it a little. they've been rushing into things for years, with the marriage, the baby, the unexpected nights together. now is the time for them to acknowledge their feelings, take their time and give this a fair shake. i think that is part of what i liked about her choice as i described above. if for any reason this doesn't work out, at least they are giving it a fair, chance and finally wiping out the possibility of any regrets for not getting together. not that i think that this won't work for them, my piont is that for right now i believe this was the absolute right thing for them to do. geez i need some sleep. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

I agree with you completely, Dave. Maybe it's just that I'm feeling needy right now? I don't know... No, it would really be boring if we all liked the same things.
