Ok guys... Lately I've been having so MUCH anxiety. All the time. It's getting worse. I couldn't stay asleep last night, because I kept waking up, and feeling like I had to do something. I always feel like I should do something, or else, if I don't I'm lazy. Or I'm I feel useless, because Im not doing something beneficial. "No one your age does this!" "Don't be lazy do something!" "You'll never get anywhere."

I can't make a simple decision. Without feeling overwhelmed. Every decision is a long process, and I think wayyyyyy too much about it.I.... Can't even pick out a simple meal anymore. Even one at home. I regret almost anything I do. Anything. I should of done that, it would have been better.

I've gone through periods like that also....have had to tell my mind...nothing is that critical that it can't wait....there is usually something in the future that is stressing me or something I have done in the past that's still bothering me about doing wrong.....then I get afraid to do anything. Life can be challenging.

I have been the same. Like I really ought to be doing something, but I can't seem to get off the couch. I didn't even eat dinner because I couldn't decide what to have. The only thing that propelled me was the occasional cigarette and cutting some. I'm calling my pdoc when he's in his office and ask if 3 weeks is an appropriate time to wait when I'm kinda in crisis mode. Surely he can squeeze me in for five minutes. I mean it's FIVE F****** MINUTES! Take 5 off your lunch. Jesus!

You are not alone. I've been feeling like this for several months now. The klonopin helps some days but overall it's just miserable.

Sorry you are feeling this way.

I have extreme anxiety like this too. Unfortunately I was forced off of benzos without a taper in 2013 and it's been much worse since then. I can barely cope with anything at all.

I can relate to this feeling too. Sometimes I really struggle to leave the house even though I work. Something as simple as choosing what to buy at the shops is overwhelming and a seems like a huge decision so I end up staring at the shelf for ages.. and then I panic because I must look really strange. Sometimes I have a huge list of things that need doing but am so anxious none of it gets done. The overwhelmed feeling is awful, and the fact that it gets in the way of being productive makes it worse. Try to congratulate yourself every time you do something productive even if it's tiny. And don't feel bad for the times when you don't.
