Okay, this may be kinda corny…but, everybody please meet my cat—Baby. She is my new avatar. She and I have been a team for 14 years. I truly love her and probably depend on her as much as she depends on me. Don’t you think she is gorgeous? She seems to know when I am upset and always snuggles up to me when I need her. She is probably also the smartest cat in the world!

I do worry about her because she is getting older and although she is healthy she has been struggling to keep on weight. The vet assures me she is okay…but, I still worry a little

Oh, not at all corny to express your love for Baby! She is beautiful. They are such good company, aren't they?

Have your vet, if s/he hasn't already, check her for hyperthyroid which isn't uncommon in older cats and which causes unexplained weight loss. If that is the case then a synthetic thyroid supplement can be given to her.

(((( Baby )))) Welcome!

Thanks for sharing her with us, DePressMe!
